Discover the soul of Primard, between nature and human creation
Accompanied by Primard's Head Gardener, explore the 40-hectare estate, where woods, meadows, vegetable garden and rose garden follow one another along the water's edge.
The tour reveals the history of the site, the heritage of the classical French style and Wirtz's contemporary influence, blending geometric rigor and plant freedom.
You'll pass orchards in full bloom, the farm with its semi-liberty animals, the moat where the boats sail, the iris and peony beds, and finally the permaculture vegetable garden, the living heart of the estate and a source of inspiration for Primard's cooking.

A sensory immersion in the heart of life
Conceived as a moment of intimate connection with the earth, the experience Les Racines de Primard, launched at the end of 2024, invites visitors to explore the estate's sustainable philosophy.
From January to March, take part in the rebirth of our forest by planting a tree alongside Gérard, our Head Gardener. Leave a living trace at the heart of the Domaine & make a concrete contribution to the preservation of local biodiversity.
You choose the tree of your choice From hornbeam to oak, maple to lime, acacia to wild cherry, each species chosen is part of our unique reforestation program, just an hour from Paris, which combines respect for life, meaning and beauty.
This experiment is part of the Fontenille Collection, France's first mission-driven hotel companycommitted to sustainable tourism that respects our heritage, biodiversity and living territories.

Toucher Terre workshop: an introduction to permaculture 1 hour from Paris
Between pedagogy and poetry, Domaine de Primard offers you a return to the essentials around a permaculture initiation workshop designed to reconnect young and old to the earth, in a vegetable garden vibrant with life and color. Led by Florence Besson, a committed journalist with a passion for permaculture, this workshop close to Paris is aimed at all those who are curious: adults, children, novices or budding gardeners.
In just 1h30, you'll be immersed in a fascinating world of plants, with a guided tour, simple gardening techniques & the latest gardening techniques. permaculture principles These include observing natural cycles, respecting the soil, composting, combining plants and balancing ecosystems. An opportunity to learn and share at the heart of the Primard kitchen garden, designed as a living laboratory for sustainable development.
